Two years ago when we started preparing for Madelyn, Grace got her big-girl bed. And a heck of a big-girl bed it was. The only problem – we knew that one wouldn’t be enough and that Madelyn would need her own.
So about a month ago Geoff & I started designing Madelyn’s bed. We had been hearing all along that Grace wanted us to build Madelyn a castle bed, so a castle bed it is. No slide this time, but it’ll still be a really fun place to play.

Anyone who knows us knows that a clean pool table means the project is done…
Well, done for now. Phase 1 of the playset is done, that’s it for this summer. It’s a good feeling to be done, even knowing there’s additional work to be done down the road.

Well, Grace is starting to get old enough that it’s time to build her a playset. Geoff dreamed up some crazy design, and well, the “compound” as it has been nicknamed, has begun. There’s still a lot of work to go, but here’s the progress so far…
